Overview: In 2016 Foundant Technologies hired me to remake their company logo (pictured at the bottom). After 10 years in business, they were ready for a refresh. They needed a logo that embodied their existing logo, but gave it a new look and feel.
Concept: The old logo was static and I wanted the icon to work differently than the box it was in, and made it more geometric and angled. The feeling I wanted to give was that the icon was a corner stone of any non profits foundation. It still kept most of their original mark, so clients would recognize it as the same company. I updated the fonts from the common used Myriad Pro, to really nice Neue Frutiger family, that is clean and corporate, but also flexible enough to be used on web or print materials. The color palette I chose was inspired by Montana nature and landscape and a red that resembled an old red barn.
